Bariloche

San Carlos de Bariloche is the gateway to the Patagonian lake district. Surrounded by Nahuel Huapi National Park, it offers mountain and arrayán forest landscapes, artisan chocolate shops on Mitre Street, and the legendary Circuito Chico. In winter it's South America's top ski center (Cerro Catedral); in summer, trekking, kayaking, and craft breweries at the foot of the Andes.
