Mendoza International Airport (MDZ) receives flights from Buenos Aires (1h 45min) and other cities. From the airport, downtown is 10 km away. Also accessible by bus from Buenos Aires (14 hours) and Santiago, Chile (6 hours).
Harvest season (February-March) is the most festive time. Autumn (March-May) offers perfect temperatures for visiting wineries and vineyards turn red and gold. Spring (September-November) is ideal for adventure activities. Winter is ski season.
Arid climate with large temperature variations. Hot and dry summers (25-35°C). Cold and dry winters (2-12°C). Little rainfall concentrated in summer. Abundant sunshine year-round. Possible Zonda wind (warm, dry wind) in winter-spring.
